Those on “Club Registration” are required to carry a current copy of the Packardian Magazine to prove they are attending a legitimate Packard event. It is an offence to move a vehicle on NSW Concessional Registration to any ‘outside’ or non Packard event, without first gaining the Club’s permission. This is done by faxing or telephoning the Club Plate Registrar. Alternatively, each member’s vehicle on NSW Concessional Registration should have “Permission to move” forms to fill out and either fax or mail to the Plate Registrar. After permission is granted, your vehicle will be covered by third party green slip insurance for the duration stated on your application. All movements are recorded in the ‘daybook’ held by the Plate Registrar. This book is available for inspection by Police or RTA at any time.
