Day 2 at Eden was just the start of a very busy program of events planned. Most Packardians took advantage of the cafes down at the wharf area to breakfast before departing for a tour of Twofold Bay about the modern catamaran cruise vessel the “Cat-Balou”. About 2 hours around the bays, inlets and beaches on a clear sunny and calm day, with an informative commentary providing us with historical details of the area. Stopped for morning tea, I did mention it was a calm day didn’t I? Also saw a pod of Dolphins who were in one of the little bays. They even came out from where they were swimming to see us, a really wonderful sight! And further on, on our way back to Snug Cove from where we’d departed, saw some Seals. Lunch was then taken at one of the cafes/restaurants on the waterfront before people went their own ways to visit the Marine Discovery Centre and/or the Killer Whale Museum. Dinner that night was again at the Fishermans Club and, because Eden was also the start point for a Rally Car type Rally, there were a lot of people making use of the dining room making for slow service for those who ordered their meals later than others.
