Concourse Display Day

With the predicted forecast for Victor Harbor it was uncertain where and how the Packard would be held. Thankfully the predicted rain was not due to hit until later in the day. Another early start was in order.

The vehicles assembled at 8 am ready to leave. The vehicles drove down the main street and parked at the Warland Reserve.

The morning weather was quite nice with blue skies, and it wasn’t too cold. The Packards all looked very nice, all shined up and polished.

The vehicles to be judged in the concours were lined up in the front row while the rest of the cars were on display on the row behind.

Around 10:30am the clouds began rolling in, the nice morning weather was over. Within the hour most of the cars had left with many of them returning to the motel where earlier arrangements had been made to park their car somewhere safe.

So who won the concours? You will have to wait until the presentation dinner to find out...
